Our client is a premium Sydney restaurant that has been trading for 15 years, they continue to be successful because of their passionate, produce-driven approach and after 7 years of working with their current Chef are now on the hunt for their next Head Chef, one that can take their venue forward and develop the restaurant into a new era. If you are an established chef with skin in the game and you are looking for a new challenge, or someone aspiring to get to the next level - this role is for you.
You will be responsible for all aspects of running the kitchen including
- Maintaining and monitoring wage costs
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate food costs
- Maintaining supplier relationships
- Innovative and modern menu creation and execution
Working alongside an established culinary director you will have the scope to develop the menu around your skill set and vision. You will have a strong focus on fresh, seasonal and modern food that will excite your customers and keep them coming back.
There is a well-established brigade of 10 -15 chefs that you will work alongside for lunch and dinner services and will be able to motivate, lead and inspire, hopefully for years to come.
The remuneration package is dependant on experience but is very attractive and sits at a package of up to $150k + dining discounts and the opportunity to join a family oriented hospitality group.
