Based in Cronulla, as the Kitchen Manager you will be reporting to the Restaurant General Manager This role will be pivotal in ensuring effective and efficient back of house operations. As an established BOH leader, we want to see you lead by example and be hands on with your team in all aspects of kitchen operations.

As the Kitchen Manager, your role will involve;

• Stock control and ordering
• Meal preparation
• Effective management of kitchen staff ensuring quality of product
• Staff rostering and timesheets
• Learn and assist Budgeting and food costing
• Maintain kitchen presentation, cleanliness and product integrity
• Maintain safe, secure and healthy workplace environment
• Opening/closing of the kitchen

About You 

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary and management experience. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating leadership and organisational abilities.

• Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment
• High standard of food preparation and productivity
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster including nights/weekends
