Modern multi-faceted venue. Senior Duty Manager or Assistant Venue Manager.

Our client is a multi faceted hotel with an impressive food & beverage and gaming trade set within modern premises on the heart of Ipswich. They operate several venues around Queensland.

The position can be either a Senior Duty Manager or Assistant Manager and suits a customer focused individual, preferably an Ipswich local, looking to complement an established leadership team.

About You

• We’re looking for someone who’s confident leading from the front - someone who’s happy to be on the floor with the team, setting the pace and showing what great service looks like.
• You’ll help train and support the team, give clear feedback, and make sure everyone’s working well together.
• You’ll keep things running smoothly day-to-day, whether it’s jumping on the phones, managing cash, or making sure food safety and compliance standards are followed.
• Customer service is a big focus, so we want someone who pays attention to the little things and genuinely cares about the guest experience.
• You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and pitch in wherever needed - front or back of house.
• We’re after someone who knows the ins and outs of pubs, gaming, food and beverage including functions and events - and knows how to make good decisions under pressure.
• You’ll need a current RMLV, RSG and any other required licences, and be available to work a mix of shifts, including nights and weekends. No 4am closes!
