Seeking a Venue Manager for our client's busy late-night bar/club. Must have proven leadership in nightlife, staff management & liquor compliance.

Our client operates one of the city's most dynamic late-night venues—combining high-quality service, strong entertainment programming, and a loyal customer base. They are currently seeking an experienced Venue Manager to take the reins and lead a high-performing team in a high-energy, late-night environment.

About the Venue:

Late-night operations, busy weekends, and large events are the norm—so this role requires someone who is confident, capable, and thrives under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, particularly during late-night trading hours
• Lead and support FOH and security teams to ensure top-notch service and a safe, welcoming environment
• Recruit, train, roster, and manage staff
• Handle customer issues and conflict resolution with professionalism
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing, health & safety, and operational regulations
• Drive financial performance through effective cost control and strong team leadership
• Work closely with ownership and marketing teams to grow the venue’s profile and success

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume late-night bar or nightclub
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of licensing, health & safety, and security requirements
• Ability to remain calm and in control during high-pressure situations
• A natural problem solver with a passion for hospitality and nightlife
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role and a Current Manager's Certificate
• LCQ
