About the opportunity

We’re partnering with a well-established casual dining brand that’s known for vibrant energy, fresh flavours, and a guest-first approach. With over 100 seats and a buzzing atmosphere day and night, this restaurant is a cornerstone of Chadstone’s hospitality offering.

They’re on the lookout for a Restaurant General Manager who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and understands how to create a culture of accountability and positivity. You’ll be hands-on during service, guiding the team through peak periods while maintaining a sharp focus on guest satisfaction.

Beyond the floor, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of operations - team recruitment and development, labour and cost control, P&L ownership, and ensuring performance targets are met. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership with commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate is confident running a large site, passionate about team development, and motivated to create a consistent, high-performing operation. You’ll have the support of a wider leadership team while being empowered to make the venue your own.


The candidate

• A minimum of 2 years Venue Manager or General Manager experience  is essential, preferably in high volume restaurants
• You are a true front of house leader who drives standards, supports teams, and wins over customers
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver outcomes to ownership - equally motivated to be involved in business decision making as you are running service
• The ability to demonstrate strong people and performance management skills
• Strong cost control management skills and the ability to develop revenue streams across the business
