We’re on the hunt for a hands-on, experienced Venue Manager to take the reins at a modern, high-energy Asian restaurant and bar. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building strong team culture, improving systems, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You’ll oversee all aspects of venue operations, including the front and back of house, with potential for growth into a multi-site General Manager role across our wider group, based in a busy hospitality precinct.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Full responsibility for day-to-day venue operations
  • Lead by example on shift, while mentoring and training the FOH team and supporting BOH coordination
  • Build a tight, collaborative team culture and elevate service standards
  • Handle forecasting, budgeting, rostering, costing, inventory, and bar optimisations
  • Manage stock control, maintenance, sales reporting, and training schedules
  • Oversee recruitment, performance reviews, and career development alongside senior leadership
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team (some of whom speak limited English) respectfully and constructively
  • Support marketing efforts and promotions to drive new and repeat customers
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong leadership and hospitality management experience (ideally in venues with up to 20 staff)
  • Confidence coaching both FOH and BOH teams
  • Skilled in cost control, reporting, and systems with a high attention to detail
  • Willingness to lead from the floor and not just manage from the sidelines
  • Open to learning about Chinese cuisine and cocktails (no prior experience required)
  • Proactive, collaborative and growth-minded
