The Opportunity:

This CBD restaurant thrives throughout the week due to its corporate foot traffic and rich history within the Melbourne food and beverage scene.

The business does not overcomplicate its menus - in fact, the menu is quite predictable - but what sets them apart is their consistency and execution in delivering simple food to an incredible level.

Our client works with local suppliers, farmers, and fishermen to ensure that all ingredients sourced are of the highest standard. Simplicity is what they believe in: from cutting chips by hand to filleting fish, everything served on your plate has been freshly prepared by chefs from start to finish.

This is very much a front-of-house role, with the majority of your time spent leading service. If you're looking for a role that requires you to take on the business and commercial aspects of running a venue, then this might not be for you.


The Candidate:

• Previous hospitality leadership experience is essential, preferably 1 year as an Assistant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor working in casual dining, hotels, or a la carte restaurants
• Ability to lead and take charge of front of house operations in the absence of the Venue Manager, including shift management, troubleshooting service issues, and training floor staff
• Experience managing team KPI's and managing cost control duties is desirable, but not essential
• Positive energy and a genuine passion for casual dining operations

The Benefits:

• $70,000-75,000 + superannuation
