Our client's venue is centrally located and offers quality food and beverage in a relaxed and trendy atmosphere served by a genuinely happy team!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a hard-working, can-do, attitude to take the reins of this busy operation. With a vibrant disposition you will be overseeing the entire venue, focussing on driving food service as well as supporting your team, in turn strengthening the backbone of the business.

The Role:
Energetic and vibrant, as the Venue Manager you will be the face of the business, smart and well presented; you will set the standard for the site from the start. You will have a natural gift for hospitality and be able to motivate and lead the team. You will be a master of all trades, epitomize great bar service, have a structured and systematic approach to training, preparation and shift management, and be as comfortable in setting up an Excel spreadsheet as you are on the floor.

The Job:

• Oversee the day to day operations of the whole operation
• Ensure all departments and practices are delivered in line with management and budget plans
• Stimulate, manage and train your team to minimise staff turnover
• Deliver consistent, high quality customer service
• Venue opens/closes, Cash reconciliation, Rostering, Ordering
• Management of OH&S and RSA in line with company policies
• General marketing duties and event supervision

You:

• Prior experience overseeing a large, high turnover venue
• Strong food and beverage service skills and knowledge
• Ability to work in fast paced and high pressure situations
• Demonstrate strong ability to driving sales and public profile
• Previous experience with financials, cost control and rostering
• An outgoing vibrant personality with drive and enthusiasm
• A strong work ethic
• A flexible approach to your working week
• Excellent communication skills
• Approved Managers Certificate
