We’re looking for a hands-on Bar Manager to lead the charge at our high-energy entertainment and hospitality venue inner West Sydney . The place is already buzzing — now we need someone who can take our bar operations to the next level and create unforgettable experiences for every guest who walks through the doors.

The role

Reporting to the Venue Manager (who’s as chill and supportive as they come), you’ll oversee a core bar team of five plus casuals, making sure the drinks keep flowing and the vibe stays high. This is a role for someone who can balance creativity and service with strong operational skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating, and rostering your bar team
• Training and coaching staff to raise the standard (and grow the team as we expand)
• Driving bar sales and hitting budgets (with a bit of healthy internal competition to keep things fun)
• Maintaining strong Google review ratings by delivering a guest-first experience every shift
• Keeping an eye on wages and labour while managing the ups and downs of trade
• Jumping in to support other departments when it’s quiet – teamwork is how we roll

About you

• Previous experience in bar management, hospitality, or entertainment
• Confident leading a team and keeping standards high while having fun
• Customer-focused, hands-on, and never too busy to get behind the bar
• Basic cocktail and mixology knowledge (we’ll happily help you grow this further)
• A team player who thrives in a fun, fast-paced, high-volume environment
• RSA required + Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)

• Salary: $70–73k + super
• Roster: 5-day roster with flexibility, straight shifts between 9am–12:30am
