We are working on a refreshing and rewarding opportunity with one of Victoria's premium hospitality and leisure groups


Our client is arguably one of the leading hospitality groups when it comes to premium service and providing memorable guest experience.

The group are based in Victoria and are looking for a senior sales leader to join their team in a newly created role, managing a team of 3 across marketing, sales and e-retail.

A suitable candidate will possess hunter like qualities when it comes to outbound sales, and will have the strategic thinking in order to develop existing products for key accounts and frequent customers.

The role requires a self starting, tenacious leader that is genuinely driven and motivated by results from a brand perspective, but the also requires a leader with a high level of trust - our client has built their team success across all departments with 'trust' topping their core values!

The successful candidate will inherit a great team of achievers that have matching attitudes towards getting the job done as a team.
It is your duty to unlock their potential individually as a well as a team in order to reach new heights so this role will demand a leader with a strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a appetite for creating and reinventing.

Our client has clarified that this is a role suited to a professional aspiring to become a future Director of Sales & Marketing.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills 
  • You will have the drive to generate sales and leads for key groups and Corporate Segments sources, create and prospect new accounts, and maintain key relationships
  • A strong grasp of the Corporate and Leisure sector - to source and establish new business opportunities within these sector
  • Experience leading a small teams in sales
  • Hunter qualities - it shouldn't take someone to prompt you to drive outbound sales, it will be in your nature to jump on opportunity
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales Manager, Director of Sales or similar role is essential - essential within the hospitality industry
  • Ability to foster team spirit with a positive, can do attitude
  • Excellent problem solving, researching, and negotiation skills
  • Autonomous - you will need exceptional time management skills in order to balance on the road direct sales with leading on site
