Head chef | Auckland_NewZealand

Family owned and operated eatery - Rotating roster, must be able to commit to one weekend day per week. $70 - 75k PA.

Based in the heart of Mt Eden Village, this neighbourhood eatery has been a rolling door for loyal customers for over 22 years. Family owned and boasting a long tenure of 8+ committed & loyal kitchen staff who have ingrained themselves into the eatery to deliver exceptional service to their customers day and night. 

You can expect to be responsible for:
  • Leading an experienced team of eight
  • Following existing the menu but some creativity is involved
  • Following the correct H&S policies and procedures
  • Coaching and leading your team
  • The day to day functioning of the restaurant - Financials of the kitchen/Stock Management/Wages etc
We expect you to bring:
  • A passion for food - Our client wants someone who respects the art and craft of the kitchen
  • Proven ability to lead a team and create  a “humming“ team environment 
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • The ability to follow systems and procedures
You will be rewarded with:
  • $70 - 75k depending on experience
  • A family oriented eatery
  • A strong and experienced team to lead
  • The ability to be creative and take charge
