Seeking an Executive Chef for a stunning Mediterranean inspired Venue

Stunning Rooftop Harbour view with an exceptional Mediterranean inspired offering. The role of Executive Chef offers a motivationally inspired individual the opportunity to build on a perfectly established venue and bring it to life by inspiring your team of passionate chefs to deliver a menu that only builds on the heart of this venue.

The role:
  • As an Executive Chef, you will be tasked with overseeing a team of chefs, creating a dynamic menu, developing regular food promotions, and managing the daily kitchen operations and patron attendance. 
  • Your creative flair will infuse Mediterranean -inspired flavors into this already successful establishment.
  • working in unison with the venue manager to inspire the creative flair.
  • Creating a menu that fully plays to the demographic of loyal followers whilst tempting newcomers.
  • You will enjoy creating and building a food offering that continues to grow with the times and remains competitive 
  • You will be experienced to manage the daily restaurant trade on top of the ever-growing events
Required skills & attributes:
  • Embracing full ownership of repositioning and growing the Restaurant your innovative, passionate, and enthusiastic creativity will support the Restaurants success.
  • you will enjoy working collaboratively with the Owner and GM to create something truly amazing. 
  • You will naturally have a strong work ethic and be someone who takes pride in the consistency and presentation of the food produced.
  • Possessing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Reliable and flexible attitude. Innovative, passionate, enthusiastic, and able to work cohesively with both kitchen and FOH teams. 
  • Food safety knowledge is critical and you will have a demonstrated knowledge of excellent food safety standards;
  • Have a developed knowledge of WHS best practices in a commercial kitchen.
Qualifications and hands-on experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a head chef role in a fast-paced commercial kitchen with French food experience;
  • Strong knowledge of costing food and invoice management -
    COGS is inclusive and aligned to individual dishes.
Salary & benefits:
High-level salary commensurate with experience plus bonus structure available
