Hands-on Training Specialist role for an expanding hospitality franchise

An ideal role for a Quick Service Manager with exceptional experience in all aspects of: Customer service, rostering and restaurant operations and compliance. 

This is a hands-on role requiring in depth knowledge and experience in front of house operations with a focus on training and development. You will have extensive experience working in and with quick service stores. 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training for existing and new stores whilst reporting directly to the Managing Director and Area Manager. You will be dedicated to achieving operational and sales KPI's for all of the stores. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement training tools and programs for Franchise partners and all shop employees.
  • Assist in the On-Boarding and training of new Franchise Partners, Store Managers, and Employees.
  • Assist the Area managers with all training-related matters.
  • A regular visit to the stores to conduct evaluations of individuals and training programs
  • Plan and schedule training on a regular basis
  • Prepare, update and maintain training materials
  • Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements
  • Collaborated across departments to identify training needs
  • Facilitate classes and training programs
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to employees who wish to develop their careers within the company.
  • Lead the Team with all new store openings.
  • Complete and adjust recipe and training material as required
  • Be the gatekeeper for Shop operations standards providing timely feedback when standards aren't met.
  • Complete Training Plans for all new Franchise Partners and Store Management Teams
  • Monitor and report on Training result

Key Competencies 
  • Exceptional experience in a QSR- Quick service Restaurant/ Store
  • Are passionate about training and development
  • Ability to design, develop and facilitate training programs, or eager and willing to learn how to do so
  • Are able to travel regularly interstate and intrastate (all work-related travel will be paid for)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred, but not essential! You will be assisted through out role)
  • Mandarin speaking- Highly considered
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
Circa $70k
