An exceptional role for a Venue Manager to manage all operations for this national brand at their new venue in Tuggerah

The Opportunity 

An outstanding national hospitality group has just launched another location in Tuggerah and is looking for a passionate and outgoing Venue Manager to join their team.

This is a hands-on role suited to an individual who thrives on a challenge and has a desire for excellence and quality in product. Managing all outlets, with a truly talented team, and producing high-quality Pub bistro food and a modern Australian  inspired restaurant menu.

As part of one of Australia's most successful hospitality group offerings, there is also a vast amount to benefit from the structure, the executive team and all the positives that come from this.

You will be responsible for but not limited to;
  • In conjunction with the Area Manager, actively contribute to and develop strategies that ensure the achievement of quality standards, best practice business objectives and profit targets
  • Monitor budgets, profit and loss statements and forecasts to ensure effective cost control and profitability
  • Liaise with the Area Manager and other relevant Department heads on menu, guest feedback and service issues
  • Management of up to 45 staff, including training, rostering and on shift management.
  • Overall management of the FOH operational facets of the business.
  • Adherence to and auditing of OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to build sales and revenue whilst controlling costs.
  • Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
About You 

If you are a highly motivated Venue manager with experience and are able to successfully demonstrate the following;
  • Dynamic, energetic and agile thinking
  • Demonstrated hospitality experience within a high volume restaurant environment.
  • Qualifications in Hospitality are preferred; however, not essential.
  • Proven management experience with outstanding leadership capability and customer service focus.
  • Can-do attitude with the ability to act efficiently and resiliently.
  • Drive to create a supportive culture that motivates and develops your team.
  • Ability to work productively during busy trading periods, including weeknights and weekends.
