BRAND NEW VENUE OPENING 2022. WOW - what a wonderful opportunity to create a masterpiece with a key focus on fresh food from "farm to plate".

Make your mark in this NEW Restaurant and set the stage for success.

With 150 seats you will be adept at managing a team and creating memorable guest experiences revolving around fresh food whilst creating a welcoming atmosphere.

As the Restaurant/Venue Manager you will be: A true professional, well-presented, well-rounded Restaurant Manager with a drive to learn and the natural ability to lead.
  • You will be a Manager who leads by example, is self-motivated, and thrives on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Your restaurant knowledge and previous management experience will be demonstrated from the get-go and your opinion and influence will be genuinely recognized.
  • You have intelligence that is based on insight, and a desire to understand your guests.
  • Lead the team by example
  • Supervise the floor to ensure the values and sequence of service are being represented at all times
  • Self-motivate as an energetic individual who thrives on making memorable guest experiences
  • Ensure that checklists and proper opening and closing functions are followed
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff
  • Manage staff performance
  • Remain calm and alert in all situations, serving as a role model to staff and other employees
  • Thrive in (and encourage) a fun, collaborative culture, pushing for success
  • Be confident in the recruitment process and selection
  • Interact positively with all customers and resolve issues and complaints in a timely and appropriate fashion 
  • Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings
  • Ensure cleanliness of venue on a daily basis is upheld
  • Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely manner
Key competencies:
  • Previous management experience in high volume à la carte
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Experience in training and developing staff, identifying key talent
  • Experience creating and nurturing a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Rotating Roster
