Passionate, motivated, and driven Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager for a premium oriented restaurant.

You will be a hands-on leader, leading your team to ensure all aspects of operations are well maintained including people, standards, and profit.

Responsibilities: 
  • Delegate kitchen duties to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Rostering including labour cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures
  • Review kitchen preparation par levels
  • Maintaining high standards of food preparation and productivity
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Assist in the training and development of Team Members
  • Produce detailed reports  of the kitchen operation.
Key Competencies: 
  • Minimum 2 years working knowledge of kitchen operations with management experience of a team of 8+
  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery Qualification
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Experience in budget management, cost control, and wastage
  • Knowledge of OH&S / WH&S
  • Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster including nights/weekends
