Busy and bustling mall based gastropub is seeking an experienced Sous to join the BOH team
Our client: Is synonymous with food, drinks and Sylvia Park - they have been a staple since the beginning offering great service, vibes and an experience outside of shopping.
The role: Will see you support the Head Chef and guide the team of junior chefs to deliver consistent excellence in the food department of this gastro-pub! The role will be busy with the venue always bustling for late night shopping hours and weekend sports!
You can expect to support with ordering, inventory management, food & wage costs, support with processing of invoices, support with relationship management with suppliers and ensure the food control plan is known and implemented across all staff and facets of the kitchen.
We are seeking experienced Sous Chefs, who have been in a Junior Sous or Sous Chef role for at least two years. Ideally you will have fast paced, high volume, gastro-pub experience behind you.
What you will be rewarded with:
-45 hour work week
-$60-65k per annum (dependant on experience)
