Rare Head Chef opportunity for this leading Mission Bay restaurant that is a hot spot for all.
Our client: This iconic hospitality group has been elevating the Auckland hospo scene for over 10 years and has close to 20x venues in operation.
Their venues all have a unique feel and style about them but all deliver the highest of quality, food, beverages, experience and customer service.
Covid has not stopped this hospitality group expanding their wings and increasing their venues, with two more being added to their portfolio in the coming months.
The role: This restaurant & brand has become a local favourite in two central locations within Auckland across Ponsonby and Mission Bay.
They provide stunning Japanese cuisine with only the finest local ingredients which has seen them win many accolades and awards over the years.
Some key responsibilities: -Lead a BOH team of about 25
-Run the day to day operations of the kitchen
-Management and maintenance of stock & inventory including stock rotation and ordering
-Lead the recruitment, training, development of your team
-Collaborate with Venue Manager and the FOH team to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all customers
-Manage all food control plans, food safety and H&S standards for the kitchen
-Achieve all financial targets for the kitchen including monthly P&L performance
Ideal experience required: -Head Chef experience in large, high volume refined restaurants
-Experience working with Japanese cuisine preferred
-Proven experience leading teams of 15+
-Strong tenure in your career
