Our client is ready to start 2023 with a bang and is looking at increasing their BOH team at their large Wynyard Quarter location.
Our client: This fantastic Wynyard Quarter site offers three key & comfortable spaces for customers to enjoy NZ brewed beer & cider, along with other delicious beverages and food on a walk in basis or for a private function. Our client prides themselves on working with locally sourced produce and products to ensure customers only experience quality.
The role: Is perfect for a Senior CDP, Sous or Senior Sous Chef looking for a change and to work in a busy and bustling establishment all year round.
You will support the Head Chef leading a team of 5-7x, and assist with ordering, stock rotation and management, menu development when required and ensuring food quality is high at all times.
Experience you will have: -Sous Chef experience in gastropub, pub or restaurant style european food
-Solid tenure behind you that demonstrates loyalty to your employer
-Valid NZ working rights
-Good leadership skills and experience
-Exposure to ordering and rostering
What you will be rewarded with: -$28-32 per hour (this will be based in your experience)
-2x days off per week and a roster of 45-50 hours per week
