Rich in history with over 160 years of operation, our client is one of New Zealands oldest taverns, seeking an experienced Duty Manager.
Has been around for 160 years and is rich in hospitality history. With a restaurant, bar and functions space there is something for everyone 7x days per week at this North West hot spot. The role:
As Duty Manager you will work alongside a team of 6x Duty Managers reporting into HR & Operations and you will support a wider FOH team deliver high and consistent service to their customers. You will have a focus on adding value to the team through effective training, leadership and communication and work closely with BOH to ensure smooth service for customers. What skills & experience you will bring to the role:
-Experience working in a busy, bustling restaurant, bar or functions / events space
-Proven leadership within local hospitality
-Ability to work across weekends and evenings (normally finish time is about 10.3pm)
-Current LCQ licence What you will be rewarded with:
-$27-30 per hour (experience and tenure in the industry dependant)
-2x consecutive days off per week
-Ability to learn and work across the restaurant, bar and functions space
