Rich in history with over 160 years of operation, our client is one of New Zealands oldest taverns, seeking an experienced Duty Manager.
Our Client: Has been around for 160 years and is rich in hospitality history. With a restaurant, bar and functions space there is something for everyone 7x days per week at this North West hot spot.
The role: As Duty Manager you will work alongside a team of 6x Duty Managers reporting into HR & Operations and you will support a wider FOH team deliver high and consistent service to their customers. You will have a focus on adding value to the team through effective training, leadership and communication and work closely with BOH to ensure smooth service for customers.
What skills & experience you will bring to the role: -Experience working in a busy, bustling restaurant, bar or functions / events space
-Proven leadership within local hospitality
-Ability to work across weekends and evenings (normally finish time is about 10.3pm)
-Current LCQ licence
What you will be rewarded with: -$27-30 per hour (experience and tenure in the industry dependant)
-2x consecutive days off per week
-Ability to learn and work across the restaurant, bar and functions space
