Stunning location of New Zealand. Seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team. $32-35 per hour
Our client: Is a fantastic lodge known for its local fishing offering along with their food & beverage service and space & location for weddings & events.
The role: Is a Sous Chef role to join a team of 5x chefs in total - they offer a la carte, banquets, buffets and bespoke menu offerings for various corporate events and weddings.
The position will see you support the Head Chef with the leadership of the team, menu development and at time support with financials such as costings and labour budgets.
The experience required is: -Proven experience in a Sous Chef role leading small teams
-Ability to work in relatively small kitchens with ease whilst producing high quality and at times high volume food offerings
-Motivating and collaborative approach to cooking and leading
-Ability to work weekends and evenings
