About the Opportunity:

Work at a beautiful, renowned establishment operating for more than 20 years, seeking a Venue Manager able to deliver amazing guest experiences in several settings from fine to casual dining to Functions & Events.  As an integral part of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future culture in alignment with our core values of honesty, integrity and common goal orientation.

Collaborating closely with senior management, you will oversee teams by thoroughly understanding operational needs, including service delivery, staff management and financial requirements, all while maintaining an active, hands-on role within the venues.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Venue Manager in a similar environment with excellent wine knowledge
• Demonstrated expertise in Fine Dining and high-volume banquets & events
• Proven ability to manage COGS and lead a diverse FOH team
• Experience in remote/regional locations and adept at managing staffing challenges
• Solid people management, time management and rostering skills

• *Own transport is required as the venue is in a location with limited public transport options.

Background:

• Venue Management experience within a contemporary hospitality group or 5-star hotel, across multiple venues
• Experience managing large teams with a track record in creating a culture of excellence, driving positive cultural initiatives, leading from the front with humility and hands-on leadership
