The Opportunity
  
This newly created role has been developed in response to ongoing growth and strategic planning for what is set to become one of the busiest casual food and beverage venues in the region.

Our client operates a multi-outlet hospitality venue featuring a sports bar, café, and a large bistro, all located in the Echuca area. The venue trades seven days a week and caters to a broad demographic.

This role calls for a dynamic leader who can confidently pivot between managing a high-energy beverage-focused outlet and leading service in a 100+ seat bistro environment.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining high team performance, driving cost control initiatives, and ensuring the guest experience is consistently excellent across all areas of the venue.

Depending on the day, you will be responsible for managing teams ranging from 4 to over 15 staff across multiple outlets, adapting your leadership approach to match the pace and priorities of each service period.

The Candidate

• A minimum of 2 years experience working at a Duty Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager is essential
• A leader who gravitates to the floor during service - we need a manager who will be able to pivot from running food and serving customers, to handling reservations and assisiting with planning for events
• Ability to demonstrate cost control management skills is desirable, but not essential 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - from dealing with customers face to face to coaching teams of 15 or more, we need a leader who shines in this area
