The Opportunity 

Our client’s venue is the kind of place you visit to relax in the beer garden with friends, enjoy a classic pub lunch or dinner, or watch a live sporting event at your favourite local spot.

We’re partnering with ownership that’s seeking an experienced hospitality leader - someone ready to take charge of a medium-sized venue with a strong focus on food, beverage, and functions.

The role is a hands-on, front-and-centre Venue Manager position, requiring the successful candidate to seamlessly switch between pouring pints and serving locals, to overseeing P&L management, staffing, and stakeholder relationships.

This coastal pub thrives all year round, supported by a loyal local crowd, and really comes alive on weekends, public holidays, and during the summer months.



The Candidate

• A minimum of 1 year’s venue management experience is essential - ideally within pubs, clubs, or multi-faceted food and beverage venues.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must - whether it’s engaging with locals or leading a team, we’re looking for a natural communicator and motivator.
• A customer service-driven leader who can create memorable experiences and isn’t afraid to push boundaries to deliver excellence.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ will be highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate.
