We’re searching for a Bar Manager who can take ownership of two high performing bar outlets, inspire a strong team, and deliver an elevated guest experience every day. This is a hands on leadership role with real scope to shape service, drive standards and bring fresh ideas to life.

About the role

You’ll oversee daily operations across two busy bar environments, ensuring smooth service, engaged staff and consistently high standards. With a focus on forecasting, revenue generation and guest satisfaction, you’ll manage everything from menu planning and promotions through to staffing, compliance and financial performance. You’ll also support broader operations, collaborating with other outlets when needed.
 
What you’ll be doing
  • Managing day to day bar and lounge operations
  • Maintaining strong food safety, liquor licensing and compliance standards
  • Overseeing stock, inventory, cost control and financial reporting
  • Developing creative beverage menus and supporting food menu innovation
  • Training, coaching and mentoring the team to deliver exceptional service
  • Running rosters, approving leave and managing overall workforce planning
  • Responding to guest feedback and driving continuous improvement
  • Supporting broader venue activities and cross outlet collaboration
  • What makes you stand out
  • Extensive background in bars, lounges or premium hospitality environments
  • Solid experience leading teams with a focus on training, performance and culture
  • Strong understanding of beverage control, stock systems and financial metrics
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with guests
  • A proactive mindset with an eye for detail, presentation and service standards
  • Ability to work across varied shifts including weekends and evenings
