We're on the lookout for a seasoned Venue Manager who thrives in high-pressure, high-volume environments and knows how to keep service flowing smoothly from open till close. This venue runs three sittings a night, regularly hosts groups of up to 20, and needs someone who can keep the vibe sharp, the team supported, and the operation humming.
 
What You'll Be Owning
  • Leading the full front-of-house operation across lunch and dinner services.
  • Managing 8-9 FOH team members during peak weekend shifts, including 4 bartenders and 2-3 floor staff.
  • Working closely with security to maintain a safe, steady environment with full eyes across the floor.
  • Ensuring fast, consistent service flow through busy dinner periods.
  • Maintaining bar and liquor compliance, including hands-on LCQ/liquor licence knowledge.
  • Handling daily costing, keeping expenses tight, and helping drive overall business performance.
  • Creating structured, fair rosters that balance labour cost and service demand.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years' experience in high-volume restaurants — you've seen it all and still move with confidence.
  • International experience is a plus
  • Strength under pressure — this place gets intense, and you keep your cool.
  • A fresh outlook and strong operational knowledge, ready to level up systems and team performance.
  • Strong leadership skills — coaching, supporting, and holding the team accountable.
  • Duty Manager Certificate and a solid understanding of licensing obligations.
  • A natural drive to improve service, boost efficiency, and create a great guest experience.
