Our client: Is located in the middle of the South Island in between Christchurch and Queenstown. The property is nestled in and amongst stunning mountains and offers their guests picturesque views from all areas of the property.
Our client is now in need of an experienced & qualified Head Chef to take the reigns of this small kitchen team to elevate the quality of the restaurant offering across Breakfast & Dinner service.
The role: Will see you as the Head Chef lead a team of 7x (Kitchen Hands, CDPs and a Sous Chef). Your primary focus will be on menu development & creation to showcase the best New Zealand's local ingredients has to offer, you will effectively lead, train & recruit for your team & foster a high performing and cohesive culture.
What you will bring to the role: -2x + years as a Head Chef in a premium standalone restaurant or hotel environment
