• Culinary Excellence: Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals, including café staples like scones, muffins, and paninis, as well as event catering (e.g., buffet nights, themed dinners, and special occasions).
• Team Leadership: Manage and support the kitchen team, which includes a chef, kitchen hand, café assistant, and café supervisor, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain exceptional food presentation and service standards to meet the expectations of discerning residents.
• Administrative Duties: Oversee budgeting, food costs, stock control, menu planning, and general administrative tasks.

• Experienced Chef: Proven culinary skills with experience in café and restaurant settings.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated kitchen management experience, preferably in a retirement village or similar environment.
• Financial Skills: Ability to manage budgets, control food costs, and handle operational requirements.
• Passion for Excellence: Commitment to delivering high-quality meals and an outstanding dining experience.
• Eligibility: Full working rights in New Zealand are required.
