We're after a Cook or Sous Chef to run a cafe kitchen and prep food for a fleet of trucks each day. It's a hands-on role with simple, consistent menus

We’re after an experienced cafe/canteen chef to run our client's cafe kitchen and get food ready for a fleet of trucks each morning. It’s straightforward food - pies, sausage rolls, brekkie wraps and fried snacks - and the focus is on keeping things organised and consistent.

  • Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2pm (no nights, no weekends)
  • Salary $65-$75k + super, dependent on experience
  • Free parking on site and staff meals
  • 2 mins from public transport - train and bus

About you:
  • Open the kitchen and prep daily food truck orders
  • Cook breakfast and light cafe options catering to a Mon-Fri work crowd
  • Stay on top of ordering and prep for the next day
  • Keep the place running smoothly alongside a business manager and a small yet solid FOH team
