As a CDP your culinary skill set will be aligned to various styles of Catering & Cuisine consistently delivering a standard of excellence.

As a Chef de Partie, you will not only be responsible for your own area but will be adept at assisting Head and Executive chefs in the development of new dishes and menus.

To be considered for the Chef de Partie role you must have:
  • Passion and motivation to deliver an exceptional product to guests every time.
  • A qualification in professional cookery or similar from a recognized training institute.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a busy a la carte restaurant environment including events. 
  • A minimum of one year of experience supervising staff at a lower level.
  • Demonstrated ability aligned to training and guidance practices for your team members.
You will be:-
  • Responsible for orders and maintaining good stock and waste control.
  • Responsible for the preparation and production of all dishes.
  • Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of foods are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
  • Ensure all mise-en-place are freshly prepared in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the adequacy of supplies at cooking stations.
  • Assist in the training of junior and apprentice chefs.
  • Ensure the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food. preparation, starting with the ingredients and ending with the finished dish which leaves the kitchen door.
