Newly created position to manage and coordinate the entire lifecycle of employees including recruitment, onboarding induction & training.

Newly created position to manage and coordinate the entire lifecycle of employees including recruitment, onboarding & inductions, training, performance review, remuneration & benefits, succession planning, and end of employment.
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Interpretation and compliance with awards, employment legislation, immigration legislation, customer requirements, and any other HR relevant legislation.
  • Maintain, develop & implement employee records, training records, Job Descriptions, Organizational charts, and company HR policies.
  • Provide support to employees in HR-related areas, staff engagement, staff functions, manage dispute resolution and performance management of employees.
  • Manage IR interface for the business including FWC and other relevant tribunals as necessary.
  • Actively assist WHS function and coordinate return to work and worker's compensation claims in conjunction with Safety Manager.
  • Manage direct Casual labour pool, labor-hire providers, and long-term contractors.
  • Collate, analyze and report on agreed HR metrics and provide support to the payroll functions.
Qualifications & experience
  • HR degree, Business degree, or another relevant degree (hands-on relevant experience would be considered for the right applicant).
  • At least 3 years experience in HR Management.
  • Qualification in OH&S WH&S is desirable.
  • Mandarin and or Japanese speaking an advantage
  • Ability to work & develop service and performance with ethnic cultures.
  • Experience in HR Hospitality an advantage
  • Hands-on role with variety and autonomy in a newly created position
