Be the Venue Manager to open this new, exciting, game changing venue located in the heart of Auckland City.

Our Client: 

This iconic hospitality group has been elevating the Auckland hospo scene for over 10 years and has close to 20x venues in operation. 

Their venues all have a unique feel and style about them but all deliver the highest of quality, food, beverages, experience and customer service. 

Covid has not stopped this hospitality group expanding their wings and increasing their venues, with two more being added to their portfolio in the coming months. 

The role: 

As Venue Manager of this fantastic, new, large & soon to be hospo hot spot - you will lead the operation of a 300x seater venue where delicious handmade pasta, seafood and true Italian dishes are served using only the best ingredients. There will be a combined team of about 60 across both FOH and BOH. 

Some key responsibilities include: 

-ensure all day to day operations are achieved through effective implementation of all standards specifically around the customer experience 
-recruitment, training, onboarding, development & performance management 
-full financial management including P&L & cost management targets are met 
-full inventory & stock management - manage direct relationships with suppliers 
-maintain a high level of presentation of the venue at all times (even in the peak busy periods) 

Experience we are looking for: 

-Venue Management, General Management or Operations Management of a large venue or restaurant that provides an exceptional and more refined experience for customers 
-A strong understanding into NZ hospitality and NZ law and legislation 
-Managers Certificate and LCQ 
-Proven experience leading teams of 30+ 
-Bubbly, high energy, determined and motivated personality
