A brand with character and pizzaz! This is a newly created role to support the phase of growth currently underway. Strong existing network in place.

Our client is a new age and progressive cool-climate vineyard. 

Every story starts somewhere. After 24 years, in 2017, the original winemakers moved on and our client moved in, and set about making the place our own. They overhauled the kitchen, tended the grounds and given the restaurant a facelift.  
Based on 10ha of chardonnay, riesling, pinot noir, shiraz, pinot gris, merlot and cabernet sauvignon, all planted in ‘98. Their wines are popular among the Canberra Wine Region lists and are in a huge phase of growth - "on" and "off premises".

The Person:
We're looking for someone who is self motivated and driven to succeed with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. The ideal candidate will have a structured approach to sales, have worked in a solutions focused sales dynamic and can demonstrate strong discipline and follow up to ensure customers needs are met and exceeded. 

The Role:
  • Identify, target and win new client relationships within the on and off premise markets
  • Maintain and expand excellent relationships with high-quality customers, ensuring newly won accounts grow in order value over time and high levels of customer retention
  • Work closely with colleagues within the wider sales teams, forging close relationships and through a collaborative approach 
  • Activate promotional strategies in state for on and off premise events and promotions.
  • Be a part of joint business planning for distribution, activation and merchandising in line with the activation calendar
  • Engage and educate the public with promotional events and tastings.
  • Manage customer data via the CRM system and inventory management
Relevant experience:
  • High level of wine or beverage industry knowledge
  • Strong sales experience, preferably in the liquor industry
  • Established network within the territory

The Offer:
  • Base Salary of $75-85k + S 
  • Qtrly Commision structure built on Targets 
  • Uncapped Commision 
  • Car Allowance + Tools of Trade.
