About the Role:This important role is an excellent opportunity for a Venue Manager to join a well-established and successful organisation. You will be responsible for the overall management of the venue, including operations, staff and customer service. You will be required to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. This position offers an exciting challenge with plenty of scope for personal development and career progression. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a real difference in this role by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring that all aspects of the venue run smoothly.
Responsibilities:• Oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and effectively
• Maintain high standards of customer service, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers
• Develop strategies to increase customer numbers and revenue streams
• Monitor stock levels, ordering supplies as necessary
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure best prices are obtained for goods and services
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
• Manage staff rosters, recruitment processes and training programmes as required
Desired Skills & Experience:• Experience in managing hospitality venues
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Good understanding of financials, budgets and forecasting
• Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
