About the Client:
  • Our client is one of Northlands most iconic hospitality venues, a bustling, family friendly spot that is equal parts brewery, pizzeria and community hub. Known for its award winning craft beers brewed onsite and its legendary hand rolled pizzas, the venue serves up classic Kiwi comfort food with a laid back coastal twist.
About the Role:
  • Work alongside 4 Sous Chefs during winter, and support a fully-staffed kitchen during the summer peak season.
  • Step into a kitchen serving Kiwi favourites like fish and chips, house-smoked wings, pizzas, nachos, and a few nice à la carte dishes.
  • Their kitchen is fully equipped for success.
  • Take ownership in a fast-casual environment where teamwork and accountability are everything.
  • Opportunity to grow into a Head Chef next year.
About You:
  • Experienced Sous Chef / Chef de Partie with strong leadership skills.
  • Hands-on, no-nonsense attitude: honesty and reliability are key.
  • Fast casual experience preferred, with an eye for consistency and quality.
  • Can handle high-pressure service.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work, shows accountability, and keeps it professional.
  • NZ Working Rights.
