Assistant Manager

The Opportunity

Our client operates a regional cafe 7 days a week and remains busy due to it's community and location.

The selected candidate will be playing a hands on leadership role for a small team. Everyone at this business is trained to switch between making coffees and serving customers, to basic food handling and preparation for display food.
 
You will be playing a supporting role to the General Manager, helping with team training, POS updates, shift management, and operational updates as they arise.

The Candidate
  • A minimum of 1 years hospitality experience as a Barista, Supervisor or Manager is essential
  • Barista trained is desirable
  • Ability to work in small teams and lead from the front in service - this role requires you to carry out regular front of house duties each day
  • Ability to help manage stock control across and display food
  • Strong customer service skills with a solutions focused outlook to handling situations as they arise
