A high-performing restaurant located in Melbourne CBD is seeking a proven hospitality leader to work closely alongside a General Manager.
The experienced Assistant Manager will be joining a team of 20 across restaurant and bar, playing a key role in day to day service ensuring service standards and guest experience are meeting the strong reputation it has gained for over 10 years.
You will play a supporting role to the General Manager across training, recruitment, stock management, and labour control.
The food and beverage offering is paired back yet providing a high level of service in a relaxed and personalized manner. Expect to lead of team of 6 front of house on shift.
The Candidate
- A minimum of 2 years Assistant Restaurant Manager experience in full serviced restaurant is essential, preferably in a smart-casual to premium operation
- Skilled in reservations management, team training, and managing guest experiences
- A leader who is agile and possesses excellent stakeholder management skills
- A leader who radiates positive energy and is the person who can lift others through both the good and the challenging times
