Assistant Restaurant Manager | Penrith

The Company

Join one of Australia's standout fast-casual dining businesses, where high-quality food meets serious career momentum. We operate with the heart and soul of an actual restaurant, not your usual QSR. This is a brand built on a "People First" philosophy: we believe that when our team is supported, great guest experiences and strong profits naturally follow.
Every shift brings pace, variety, and real responsibility. If you have the drive to lead a strong team and maintain a superior reputation, you will be backed to grow, develop, and step up quickly. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be right in the action, setting the standard every day.

  The Role:
  • Assist in managing a diverse team, including Shift Managers, Crew Trainers, and Crew Members.
  • Work across both Front of House and Back of House, moving from the kitchen and hot equipment to guest service.
  • Lead restaurant operations to maximise efficiency while ensuring full compliance with OH&S and food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain superior levels of product, service, and store ambience to ensure high mystery shopper results.
  • Play a key role in the hiring, induction, and certification of staff through our structured Training Framework.
  • Establish and promote a positive, harmonious work environment that aligns with our core leadership principles.
  • Help monitor and achieve sales targets while managing inventory, wastage, and labour costs to drive profit.
What We're Looking For
  • At least two years of experience as a strong Supervisor or Assistant  Manager.
  • An established front-line leader with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  • Solid knowledge of labour management, inventory ordering, and operational checklists.
  • High personal grooming standards and a genuine passion for the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Current RSA, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
Why You'll Want This Role
  • $70,000 - $72,000 + Super, depending on experience.
  • Clear planning and scheduling of training to help you develop your own path to senior management.
  • Rotating rosters that ensure management shifts are distributed fairly and equitably across the team.
  • Access to company-wide recognition programs to celebrate your professional success.
  • A role where your decision-making and problem-solving directly influence the success of a high-volume business.
