Assistant Venue Manager

The Opportunity

Our clients venue trades 7 days a week from morning straight through to evening service.
The venue has all the feels of a café by day, transforming into more of a wine bar and sharing-plates restaurant by night.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to showcase their barista and café expertise as this is the bulk of their business.

This is a highly hands-on, front-facing leadership role that requires an engaging, organised, and service-driven operator. You will share responsibilities in areas such as shift management, adjusting rosters, recruitment, training, customer service standards, labour control, and stock management.

We believe this role is best suited to a customer-centric leader who is motivated by the opportunity to lift operational standards while remaining actively involved on the floor and leading service each working day.

  • A leader who gravitates to the floor and appreciates different service styles
  • You have a genuine interest or appreciation in casual dining and coffee

What you'll get in return
  • $70,000-75,000 + super
  • Free onsite parking. Minutes walk from Public Transport
  • Join a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive leadership team
  • Enjoy a roster focused primarily on day shifts, driven by strong daytime trade
