The Role
- Support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of a high-performing multi-outlet precinct, leading from the floor to ensure consistent execution.
- Take a key role in managing gaming operations, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and responsible conduct of gaming.
- Assist in building, training, and developing a strong Front of House and gaming team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional engagement.
- Balance diverse guest journeys across dining, bars, and gaming environments to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Assist with rostering, labour control, and operational efficiency while overseeing cash handling and reconciliations with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain superior venue standards and safety, ensuring full compliance with RSA, RCG/ARCG, and WHS regulations.
- Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Venue Manager or 2IC in a multi-outlet or precinct-style venue that includes gaming.
- A strong background in fast-paced hospitality environments with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple departments.
- A solid understanding of gaming regulatory requirements and responsible gaming practices.
- A confident leader who thrives on the floor and leads from the front to set the pace for the team.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills to build genuine rapport with both guests and staff.
- Current RSA and RCG are essential (ARCG is highly regarded), with full Australian working rights and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Up to $100k + Super, depending on experience.
