Baker (Apprentice or Qualified)


A busy artisanal bakery located on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Baker to join their production team. This is a full-time position suited to a baker who is passionate about producing high-quality savoury and sweet products, while working collaboratively with the team on seasonal menus.

Our client is known for producing some of the Peninsula’s best sourdough, pastries, and baked goods. With consistent customer demand, including queues out the door and visitors travelling from across the state, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded and high-performing bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bench work and use of deck ovens
  • Production of sourdough, brioche, focaccia, and other artisan breads
  • Assisting with savoury items such as pies and sausage rolls
  • High-volume preparation and production
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the workspace
  • Rotating roster, Monday to Sunday with a typical shift looking like 4:00pm – 12:00am
About You
  • Apprentice or qualified Baker
  • Ideally currently working in the industry 
  • Previous experience in artisan or high-quality production bakeries is highly regarded
  • You possess strong bench work skills 
  • You have clear communication skills & Team focused mindset
  • Genuine passion for baking and developing your craft
