About the Role
As Bar Manager, you will take full ownership of the bar operations, leading from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining sophistication and precision. You'll be responsible for shaping the cocktail program, mentoring and inspiring your team, and ensuring operational excellence across service, stock control, labour, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and inspire the bar team to deliver consistently world-class service
- Develop and maintain an elevated cocktail program aligned with premium venue standards
- Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in a high-volume environment
- Manage stock control, GP%, ordering, and supplier relationships with strong commercial discipline
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, WHS, and company policies
- Drive a culture of professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and passion for hospitality
- Work closely with venue leadership to maximise performance, service standards, and guest satisfaction
- Proven leadership experience in a high-volume cocktail bar, premium restaurant, or nightlife venue
- Strong cocktail knowledge with creativity and a passion for guest experience
- Excellent understanding of stock management, GP%, labour control, and operational KPIs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining premium standards
- A confident leader with exceptional communication and mentoring skills
