About the Role
This modern, design-led venue in Melbourne’s South East is known as a go-to all-day eatery – sleek in aesthetic, yet warm and generous in its flavours. With a growing calendar of corporate catering and private events, they’re looking for a Chef who can take ownership and deliver exceptional experiences from concept through to service.
This is a largely autonomous position suited to a chef who thrives on variety, organisation and accountability. Working closely with the Event Manager, you will design menus, manage preparation and execute a diverse range of events - from premium weddings and bespoke celebrations to polished corporate functions.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in banquets, catering or event-focused venues
- Strong understanding of food costing, stock control and kitchen operations
- Confident working independently while remaining collaborative during planning stages
- Flexible and adaptable within a dynamic events schedule
- Passionate about delivering memorable food across varied formats and service styles
