We’re looking for a driven Senior Chef de Partie who is ready for more responsibility and wants to take the next step to becoming a Sous Chef. This is an incredible opportunity to join during preopening, help establish the kitchen culture and make your mark from the very beginning.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll be a key leader within the kitchen team. You’ll support daily operations, establish the venue in the market, guide junior chefs and help deliver consistent, quality food in a fast paced environment.
More than just running a section, this role will give you exposure to the leadership, operations and people management skills needed to progress into a Sous Chef position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of your section and delivering consistently high quality dishes
- Supporting the kitchen leadership team with daily operations
- Helping recruit, train and develop a brand new kitchen brigade
- Leading junior chefs and keeping the team motivated during busy services
- Maintaining strong food safety, preparation and presentation standards
- Supporting ordering, stock control, prep planning and waste management
- Helping create an organised, positive and high performing kitchen culture
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef within a fast paced kitchen
- The confidence to lead a section and support junior team members
- Confidence working in an open kitchen, engaging with guests while remaining calm and solutions focused during busy service periods
- Pride in consistency, presentation and creating great guest experiences
- Balanced Rosters working 38 hours a week
