This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, supervising staff while remaining actively involved in service. The breakfast shift is high-energy, with continuous guest turnover, while evening service focuses on table service and delivering a quality dining experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising and supporting front-of-house staff during service
- Leading by example in a hands-on service environment
- Ensuring smooth service across buffet breakfast and evening dining
- Assisting with table setup, service standards, and guest experience
- 30 or 40 hours per week (dependant on candidates preference)
- Rotating shifts across mornings or evenings (no split shifts)
- Competitive pay up to $30 per hour
- Short-term accommodation support available for candidates relocating
- Previous supervisory or senior F&B experience preferred (hotel or restaurant)
- Confidence in service standards and basic table setup
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Valid working rights in New Zealand
