We’re partnering with a well-established accommodation and food & beverage business in Lake Tekapo to appoint a newly created Dual Site Manager role, overseeing both a high-performing hostel and an on-site burger-style restaurant.
This role has been created to bring strong leadership, commercial oversight, and strategic direction across both operations. Historically, the two sites have operated in isolation — while both generate strong revenue, there is a clear opportunity to improve cost control, team sustainability, and long-term performance, particularly within the restaurant.
The Opportunity This is a hands-on, on-the-ground leadership role suited to someone who thrives in remote locations, enjoys building trust with teams, and can balance operational detail with big-picture strategy.
You will lead through your direct reports:
- Hostel Manager
- Restaurant Manager
- Head Chef
What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Supporting and developing existing managers with clear structure and direction
- Financial performance, cost control, and commercial decision-making

- Improving communication and alignment across both divisions

- Strong commercial capability with confidence managing costs, margins, and performance

- Calm, confident, and solutions-focused — able to step into complex situations
- Comfortable living and working in a remote location
