Head Chef

Our Client: 
Their location on Waiheke is stunning with the perfect blend of land and sea - it showcases all that Waiheke has to offer. They offer a menu that combines sustainably harvested seafood and ethically farmed meats, with locally sourced seasonal fruit and vegetables.

The role: 
Our client is looking for a Head Chef to see out this busy season and continue the success throughout the year. 

Our client requires a well balanced chef between having the love to be 'on the tools' and cooking whilst also effectively leading & developing a high performing team under pressure whilst also maintaining the high end food quality that guests have come to know and love. 

Experience required: 
2-5x years experience in a Head Chef position within a NZ local premium / fine dining environment 
High end / premium restaurant experience is preferred (not gastropub / pub or cafe) 
Valid NZ Working Rights - our client does not have any job check tokens to support visas at this time 
Strong leadership style that enjoys seeing individuals develop & progress 

Benefits: 
$110-130k per annum (experience dependant)
40-45x hours per week on average (seasonal dependant) 
Staff meals included on shift
