Head Pastry Chef

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our clients pastry operation, driving innovation across both sweet and savoury ranges while maintaining product quality during a growth phase.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a hands-on owner who is passionate about delivering outstanding products and creating memorable customer experiences.

With celebration cakes forming a key part of the business, we're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with creativity, leadership, and commercial awareness.


The Candidate
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior/Head Pastry Chef is essential
  • Strong cake decorating and celebration cake experience, including custom designs and finishing techniques.
  • Proven expertise in laminated pastry production is an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a team
  • Confident in quality assurance, OHS, and food safety standards, maintaining consistency in high-pressure environments
