About the Role
Our client is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager/ Head Chef to lead their lunch kitchen operations. You'll manage a small team of chefs and sandwich hands, working closely with the bakery and pastry teams to deliver high-quality daytime food service.
You'll oversee daily production of sandwiches, bagels, sourdough pizzas and savoury pastries, while managing stock, rosters, recruitment and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the production kitchen team
- Oversee daily production of sandwiches, bagels, pizzas and savoury items
- Ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day kitchen operations
- Manage ordering, stock control and inventory
- Prepare staff rosters and support recruitment
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and equipment standards
- Work closely with bakery and pastry teams
- Daytime shifts only (no nights)
