As the Production Kitchen Supervisor, you’ll manage a small, tight-knit team responsible for preparing and dispatching high-volume fresh ingredients daily. You’ll ensure everything runs like clockwork - from supplier ordering and rostering to food safety and logistics coordination.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who loves process, structure, and leading by example in a busy, non-customer facing production environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Oversee daily prep, packaging & dispatch of fresh food items
- Manage rostering, stock levels & supplier relationships
- Lead and support a team of kitchen assistants, supervisors and a logistics team
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP / Food Safety Supervisor)
- Coordinate with senior management to ensure smooth daily operations
- 3+ years’ experience leading a kitchen or food production team
- Trade-qualified with HACCP and food safety knowledge
- Process-driven, detail-oriented & highly organised
- Calm, kind and consistent leadership style
- Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on role
- Full-time, 38-hour week with early morning starts and early afternoon finishes
